LOVE is…

(By CHIRADEEP)

Love has become cheap and cold these days. It is always misinterpreted as lust. But the Bible teaches us the real meaning of Love, which is far above than the love that world understands.
The Bible says – Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails;”

“There are three things that will endure—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.”

Wow! What a description of the true & divine love. Brother & Sister! Lets practice the above-described LOVE in our daily lives.

  3. That was really beautiful. Love, yes, the most desired, the most misunderstood. I truly believe that pure love is our only soul-need. Without it we will always feel a lack, an emptiness in our heart. But as the very context alludes to (as you’re quoting from the holy Bible), love cannot be realized outside of God, and that’s the root problem with the world today – people want the Kingdom of God, without God. Will never work. It’s really a grace to come to understand this, and even more to live it. In Him only will we find contentment and Divine Rapture.

Anyhow, thanks for sharing! And here’s some musing of my own, in case you find the time to read:
